Confluential 3.0: Pret-A-Porter
An ongoing exhibition series that features highly-coveted Malaysian designers whose work has been featured in their homeland and around the world, KSK Land has launched an exclusively curated installment for 8 Conlay, KSK Land’s maiden project called ‘Confluential 3.0: Pret-A-Porter’.
It celebrates the confluence of lifestyle, fashion and luxury in Kuala Lumpur by showcasing select works by the country’s most prominent names in fashion - Han Chong (of the London-based label Self-Portrait), Khoon Hooi, Joe Chia, Jonathan Liang, Ezzati Amira, Kittie Yiyi, Cassey Gan and Moto Guo.
Coined by 8 Conlay’s luxury hospitality partner Kempinski Hotel, the term ‘confluential’ describes the distinct marriage of confluence, confidence and influence. This instalment embodies the theme of ‘confluential’ completely; the showcase pays tribute to their increasing presence at home and internationally.
Open to the public until 19 November 2018, ‘Confluential 3.0: Pret-A-Porter’ features two looks from each of the eight designers, including two dresses by Self-Portrait that were previously worn by Their Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge and The Duchess of Sussex. The exhibit run will run from 10:00am to 5:00pm daily across Levels 5 and 7 at Bangunan KSK, 32 Jalan Yap Ah Sak, 50300, Kuala Lumpur.
